In this video from Mike Rowe, he does a great job at “keeping it real”. In our culture we tend to over encourage each others and ourselves – right out of reality. Providing encouragement is ALWAYS a good thing, but we also need to be real with others.
The simple truth is, just because we are passionate about something doesn’t mean we are good at it. I agree with Mike when he says “Bring Your Passion With You”. That is a truer than true statement. No matter what we do in life, we need to be passionate in it. And if we can do that, we will enjoy what we do and other aspects of our lives so much better.
